A wire designed for welding chemically pure aluminum products, which are subject to stringent requirements for resistance to erosion when in contact with chemically aggressive media. The deposited metal is not prone to stress corrosion cracking at operating temperatures above 65°C, has sufficiently high plastic properties that allow rolling and forming, as well as anodizing products after welding. Welding is recommended on equipment that supports MIG-pulse mode, especially for thicknesses up to 4 mm.

1070 is highly resistant to chemical attack and weathering. It is a relatively soft alloy that is very formable and it is used extensively in thin-gauge and foil products. It has good welding characteristics. One characteristic feature of the alloy is the bright finish obtained by anodising. Non-heat treatable.

 

1070 Pure aluminium welding wire containing more than 99.7% aluminium, it has advantages rang over good anti-corrosiveness, well heat and electronic conductivity, machinability, low strength.

And it also is kind of best choice for color-match after anodic process. You should strictly clean the oxide film on the edge of the workpiece and oil before welding, otherwise it will make bad weld produce and cause porosity, slag inclusion and other defects.

You can use a plate to hold molten metal to ensure meld form and avoid cracks. Note:

1.welding should be strict and clear the edge of the welding of the oxide film and oil, otherwise it will cause welding seam welding and cause the hole, slag and other defects.

2 welding can be used for holding molten metal plate, in order to ensure the weld forming, and avoid hot crack.
